TTT (abbreviated from Tic Toc Tokyo) are an independent four piece band from Melbourne, Australia. They formed in late 2005 when band members Simon Gibbs, Nicolaas Ooogjes, Marty Umanski, and Adrian Vecino met and began rehearsing together with a shared desire to create music. Taking inspiration from a diverse range of individual influences, the band spent the next two years developing their musical ideas, gigging extensively and producing a series of demos which received airplay on national and community radio.

In February 2008, TTT released their debut EP Artefacts, followed by single 'Ritual' later in the year. The band then began developing material for their debut album, and were awarded a Music Career Building Grant from Arts Victoria as part of the Victoria Rocks program in early 2009.

The as yet untitled album was produced by noted local producer and live engineer Nao Anzai (Because of Ghosts, Laura), and is a distillation of the musical themes and ideas the band has collectively explored. Combining an experimental approach that incorporates a variety of instrumentation – including trumpet and clarinet, multiple percussion and drum machine - with a strong sense of melody and dynamics, the album explores a broad musical terrain coupled with lyrical themes of history, place, society and ritual. The album is due for release in March 2010.

TTT have shared stages with a number of local and international artists including Snowman, Vampillia (Japan) and Spiral Stairs (Pavement/ Preston School of Industry, USA). Recently, TTT were also invited to take part in 'You Don't Love Me Yet', a live performance in conjunction with Swedish artist Johanna Billing's exhibition at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA).
